Our health is a number one priority. To have poor health, makes everything else less fulfilling; since you are less likely to enjoy it. However, if you have a healthy life, you can freely enjoy your life to the fullest. It is so important that people would rather have good health than be rich. 



In being healthy, one should look after the foods that he or she will eat. The food that you will eat can greatly affect your health as there are some foods that can cause negative effects to the body, if taken too much. While, there are foods that is full of vitamins and minerals to help improve the overall health of a person.  
Because of the effect of foods to one’s health, if you want to live a healthy life, there are some things that you should consider. In following certain things about food, you will ensure yourself that the food that you will eat will really benefit your body. Some of those include:  
Don’t eat too much preservatives- There are certain foods that has a long shelf life called preservatives. These kinds of foods include canned meat. There is a reason why those kinds of foods last long without spoiling. This is because there are certain ingredients that are mixed with the foods which prolongs the process of spoiling. These ingredients can cause certain health issues if constantly consumed. Thus, it is wise that you limit these kinds of food.  
Don’t avoid fruits and vegetables- This is a problem for a lot of people. Due to the fact, that fruits and vegetables are considered to be the least tasty of their food choices. However, these kinds of foods are the ones that have the most vitamins and minerals. In fact, there are some vitamins and minerals that are only found in fruits and vegetables. Avoiding them will deprive you from those helpful nutrients.  
Water is the safest liquid to drink- There are many people that would argue what is the best drink for a healthy person. There are some that would say milk, while there are others that would say fruit juice. In reality, these are true. But they are not considered as the best. The best drink is always pure water. This is because it is the most basic of all liquids. There is nothing mixed in it, making it not have any side effects. Also, it is used to help cleanse toxins found in the body; because of its purity.
